Ameritron delivery problems

There didn't seem to be anything on the net about this so somebody had to:

Keywords: Ameritron, AL-572, tube amplifier, backorder, tubes not available, Svetlana, MFJ.

A ten week backorder is not the end of the world, but it ain't here yet.

5 Well it is a little off topic, but everything is off topic now, Alister Doyle got sacked. Now the Reuters Environment Correspondent is Deborah Zabarenko. This thread is just to call attention to the fact that if you order something from MFJ/Ameritron they might promise to deliver in two weeks but in reality it might take 15 weeks (and counting).

Sixteen and a half weeks after the order was placed I now have a tracking number!
